The Celebration of Life and Legacy
Alliance, OH, June 13, 2018 — It was announced today that registration is now open for the Friends of Pat Rogers Celebration Weekend 2018.
Pat Rogers served as a Chief Warrant Officer in the Marines and a Sergeant with the New York City Police Department, and owned his own legendary firearms training company where he taught legions of students, becoming a beloved friend and mentor to many.
Now in its third year, the event honoring his legacy brings together firearms trainers and students from across the country. The weekend’s events will be held August 25-26, 2018, at the Alliance Police Department Training Facility at 12251 Rockhill Ave NE, Alliance, OH 44501.
Saturday’s concentration on the Fundamentals of Gun Fighting will run from 0800 to 1900, as students and associates of Pat Rogers teach his core curriculum. On Sunday beginning at 0800, noted firearms instructors will instruct classes in two-hour blocks requiring registration. Class choices will be posted in advance for attendees to pre-register. At 1400 on Sunday, a BBQ celebration of friendship and camaraderie will commence and the festivities will conclude early evening.
This year's gracious sponsors are BCM and TangoDown.
Tickets for the two-day event are available for $200 per person, including all range fees and the closing BBQ. Attendance is limited to the first 200 registrants, and prior years have sold out very quickly.
Accommodations will be provided by the Holiday Inn Express in Alliance at 2341 West State Street, Alliance, OH 44601, phone (330) 821-6700. Attendees should mention the Friends of Pat Rogers Weekend when booking rooms, and reservations should be made soon.
